Calm Under Pressure - Tom Brake

Tom Brake has taken a free blood pressure test this week, as part of the Blood Pressure Association's 'Know Your Numbers' challenge.
Tom took his test at the Day Lewis pharmacy in Carshalton, and after clocking in with a perfect reading, encouraged others to take the test.
"High and low blood pressure can be the hidden cause of all sorts of illnesses, affecting a staggering 1 in 3 of us.
"Luckily, there is no reason not to know your numbers - pharmacies across the country will give you a free test at any time. It's a great way to keep a fuller picture of your health.
"I'm thrilled to have come away with such a good reading, which puts me in the clear for my Grim Challenge charity duathlon. I'll be sure to keep up to speed with my blood pressure in future, and I encourage everyone to come and have a quick check-up."
