Local MP Tom Brake took time off from his paperwork yesterday to visit a disco for people with learning disabilities at the Rosehill Community Center.
The disco is a weekly drop in session for people with learning disabilities in Sutton and is offered as an opportunity to get some exercise whilst socialising with friends.
Tom said after the disco 'I had a great time this afternoon and enjoyed meeting all of my constituents who came along!'
The session is open to anyone in the London Borough of Sutton with learning difficulties and participants can bring along their own CDs to dance to and even try their hand at karaoke.
Tom went on to say about the session, 'Dancing is a fun and relaxed way to get some exercise, whilst socialising with friends and the staff at the centre.'
The disco is held every Tuesday between 1.30 -3.30 at Rosehill Community Center for a small fee.
