154 busSince the removal of the N213, Carshalton and Wallington is no longer served by a night bus service. As you will be aware, more than 5000 people contacted me to express their opposition to the removal of the N213 and there remains a strong desire for a night bus service to be reintroduced. would therefore urge you to use the Spring 2012 Bus Review as an opportunity to reintroduce a night bus service in Carshalton and Wallington by converting the existing 154 route into a 24 hour service.

The gap between the last and first bus is only 4 hours, so a half hourly service during these hours would not require too many additional journeys. Timetabling an extended route to connect the N155 at Morden and N44 at Rosehill would improve connections for those returning back from Central London.

The lack of night time transport services in Carshalton and Wallington particular affects those working in or participating in the night time
economy. I believe that extending the 154 service into a 24 hour route would have a beneficial impact upon the safety of young people and assist the police in dispersing night time revellers.

If you are a resident of the Carshalton and Wallington constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
