Sign Up to Join Tom Brake's Monthly E-poll

Tom has won numerous award for his use of Web 2.0 technology and the internet to engage with his constituents. He was one of the very first MPs to offer online advice surgeries through Facebook's 'Chat' facility, and his award-winning 'e-group' has gone from strength to strength...now with over 5,000 members!

So what's it all about?

Well, it's pretty simply really. It's your chance to have your say on topical issues each month.

How does it work?

Tom beams out a topical question at the start of each month to his e-group members, putting both sides of the argument. He then asks you to vote by emailing back, adding your comments if you want to respond in more depth.

Then what?

Tom reads through all the responses (yes...all of them) and writes a summary which he emails out to everyone. He then takes the results and comments direct to Westminster calling Ministers to account.

If you are a resident of the Carshalton and Wallington constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
