Watch Tom in Parliament - Tom leads calls for open government

Tom Brake introduced a 10 Minute Rule Bill to parliament which sought to reverse decision by the House of Commons to back government plans to tightly protect what the public can know about government information and spending.

Tom wants to make sure that the government and all MPs are fully accountable to the people that elect them.

You can watch Tom speaking in parliament introducing his 'Freedom of Information Amendment 2 Bill' which would not only protect Freedom of Information Legislation, but also reinforce it.
