Tom Brake MP for Carshalton and Wallington was joined by local Councillor John Drage, resident Teresa Brown and Ashok Barot at the official opening of the Post Office's new free cash machine at Middleton Circle on Friday 29th of June 2007.

Proud owner Ashok Barot who runs the Post Office in the Circle said, "It's the best thing that people need around here, free access to the cash"

Tom Brake added, "With more and more cash machines in the area charging customers to remove cash from their own accounts, it is great to see that at the Post Office at least, they can get hold of their cash without being charged for the privilege."
