On Monday, the achievements of some of the Borough's best students were celebrated at Carshalton College.

Hollie Roffey from Orchard Hill College and Laura Archer from Carshalton College were joined by college principals Caroline Allen (Orchard Hill College) and David Watkins (Carshalton College) and Tom Brake MP at the informal award ceremony. Diane Emery, the winner from Sutton College of Learning for Adults was unable to attend the event.

Tom, who presented the winners with certificates, said 'Both Hollie and Laura have demonstrated exceptional commitment and tenacity in their chosen studies. They are 'Best in Class'.'
